The Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Study for Chicago is looking to connect with families who have had a pregnancy loss or infant loss. The main requirements to participate in this study are:
Requirements to participate in the FIMR study

Having had a pregnancy loss at 20 weeks (plus) gestation or Infant loss (up to 1 year of life) regardless of reason

Lives in the City of Chicago (Zipcode 606XX)

Birthing Parent is 18 year of age or older

The Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Research Study team offers our deepest sympathies for your loss. We would like you to know that we are here for you. We know this is hard, but we are hoping to talk to you. We want to better understand how having or not having resources before, during or after your loss affected you. Talking to you will help us learn how we can better support the families and communities of Chicago. We know that this is hard to talk about, but we are here and ready to listen when you are ready to share your story.

Make a Referral
If you know a family who qualifies and you would like them to participate in the FIMR study, please share our study information with them (flyers available below). If the family gives consents to a direct referral for participation, please submit a referral at the link below.
